1964: THE TRIBUTE
Blues, jass, spirituals, folk ballads, Ike Turner, Little Richard and Elvis Presley. This is the road that led to The Beatles, and our own musical culture is still walking the same path. Nearly fifty years after their recording debut, there is still no more omnipresent band than The Beatles - they exist on the radio, in pop culture, and as an influence on almost all of the music that has been made since. 1964 is the band that captures the original Beatles sound better than any other tribute act on the planet. Please, please, please do yourself a favor and come to the garden to catch this impeccable act.

1964: The Tribute
Yeah, yeah - we know what kind of thoughts the words "tribute band" inspire in most music fans. But seriously, folks, there is a time and place for the tribute band. And that time and place is June 28th at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. But seriously, sometimes a tribute band is just what the doctor ordered, and the best ones can be educational, entertaining and impressive. 1964: The Tribute is all of those things, with the added bonus that they play what might easily be the best rock & roll ever made. It's hard to beat the Merseyside sound, and 1964 puts on a show so accurate that you'll just have to let yourself be thrilled by a tribute band. Seriously.
